But sometimes, change hits us when we are least prepared and not up for it. In both cases, we have to face the new situation, define our points of view and communicate with clarity what we actually want. This takes courage and also clarity about what we stand for and where we want to go next. This will give us the confidence that we are in control of our destiny.<\/p>\n<p>When we do or experience something we enjoy, something that corresponds to our talents and where we are in alignment with our values, our true self, we gain energy. Pretending to be someone we are not, doing things that don\u2019t align with our nature on the other hand, diminishes energy. Many people accept a situation where they can\u2019t be their best self, where their values aren\u2019t respected. The cost of such energy drains is very high. It is necessary to return to concentrating on what we really value.<\/p>\n<p>During individual coaching we support people who want or have to reorient themselves, especially professionally.
